Moonglow Takes Refugee's

After the report made by the Chancellor of the Lycaeum to the Moonglow Council, the City of Honesty decided to evacuate all the Moonglow citizens still present in the city of Yew. The situation in the city of Justice is judged 'dangerous', and all citizens of Moonglow are encouraged to avoid Yew for now, unless they individually wish to offer their support in the coming battles.

The Mages of the Lycaeum have also announced that all monks from the Empath Abbey and all Yew citizens who wish it are welcome to stay inside the walls of the Lycaeum during these troubled times. Fifty beds were made available in the wing usually reserved for the apprentices, and the town healers are preparing more bedrolls and blankets for the possible refugees. The Lycaeum Mages also promised to assist the transport of people and goods through gate spells.

Lastly, the Moonglow Council wishes to remind all Britannians that while riding to Yew to defend her is a valorous and honorable act, it is important to act within the limits of local laws, and to respect the decisions of the people of Yew.

Kinship Sprite

We have again seen our friendly water spirit in Kinship Village. It appeared again in the pond first, and the evening's tavern patrons all poured out to get a look. We soon learned that the water spirit could mimic our words and had apparently learned a few from the onlookers of the previous day. Of the first words, it seemed to say "Skara", "Kinship", and "friends". We worked with it and taught it more words. Our names, the words "yes" and "no", and several other useful words.

After a while it seemed to become agitated trying to make us understand something. We believe it was trying to tell us there was a thief in Skara Brae, but we could not determine what it wished us to do. Eventually, it led us to Skara Brae in an area near the bank and then back to Kinship. We think it was just trying to affirm our belief that it was indeed saying "thief in Skara".

At the end of the evening, it dove back into the pond behind the Kinship Village tavern and was not seen again that night. We ask that if any travelers happen to see it in the village, please do not attack it. It has not harmed anyone and is obviously in need of our help. If you can teach it more words, perhaps we can determine how to help it.

Jhelom Dueling

Come challenge thy sword and thyself in the Tournament of Valor at the Dueling Pit in Jhelom!

Fighting Events:
Wrestling – Standard wrestling competition.
- No armor.
- Only pants may be worn while fighting.
- Using bandages and other healing aids is prohibited.

One on one – Combat between two competitors.
- All non-magical weapons and armor are allowed.
- Allowed the use of 5 bandages and 2 healing potions per competitor.

Two on two – Fought in teams of two, same rules apply to this tournament as with the One to One.

Basic Rules:
- No magic of any kind is allowed during combat. Including weapons, jewelry, armor and spells.
- All weapons and armor can be GM made or of lesser quality. NO MAGIC!

Time and Location:
- The events will all take place at the Jhelom Dueling Pit. They will begin at 7:30pm eastern time. It will be held Saturday, December 2nd.

Winterfell Wraiths

Winterfell has recently seen another ghost wandering the ramparts of the keep. The intentions of the spectre are far from benevolent though as food flew up on the roof and hordes of rats battered themselves against the keep gates.
